Press Release – East Asheville Clinic

For East Asheville Kids with Therapy Needs, Hope and Help is now Just Around the Corner

Asheville, August 8, 2019

Pediatric therapy needs are wide-ranging and complex, and finding the right provider is often easier said than done. Fortunately, East Asheville families with pediatric therapy needs will soon have a stellar new resource right in their own neighborhood. Carolina Pediatric Therapy announced today that they will open the doors to their brand-new East Asheville location this August.

Founded in Western North Carolina 17 years ago, Carolina Pediatric Therapy is a celebrated clinic known for its collaborative, integrated approach and its commitment to serving children and families in our mountain communities. The clinic focuses on whole wellness, and provides a wide range of therapies in home, community, and clinic settings, so patients receive the care best suited to their individual needs.

This will be the sixth Carolina Pediatric Therapy location to open, and the second to open in Asheville. The opening is part of Carolina Pediatric’s mission and vision to provide highly localized, collaborative, community-based service to western North Carolina families. Current locations include South Asheville, Brevard, Charlotte, Hendersonville, and Waynesville.

Upon opening, the East Asheville location will feature specially trained pediatric therapists, who will provide occupational, physical, speech, and behavioral therapies, in a warm and welcoming setting, for children from infancy to age to 21.

Founder Summer McMurry is thrilled about the new opening. “It has always been our mission and the heart of Carolina Pediatric Therapy to bring our integrated care closer to children and families by eliminating geographical barriers. The new East Asheville location is part of that bigger idea. We’re excited to be moving into your neighborhood, and we look forward to serving your family!”

The East Asheville location will open on August 1, 2019 in East Asheville, located at 50 Riddick Road. For more information, call: (828) 398-0043.
