Carolina Pediatric Therapy Moves to New Location
Asheville, NC- January 11, 2010 - Carolina Pediatric Therapy has opened their new location at 9B Summit Ave., Asheville NC 28803, moving from their current location on Brevard Rd.
The new location allows the staff to expand their in-office therapy services. In-home therapy services will continue to be an important part of the practice. In addition to larger therapy rooms, the site offers room for parents to meet for support groups and classes, services Carolina Pediatric Therapy plans to offer in the near future. Co-owner Summer McMurry, MS, CCC-SLP, is excited about the new space, especially the larger, more comfortable reception area where parents can relax in a comfortable atmosphere and sip a cup of coffee while they wait. McMurry recognizes the challenges that can go along with parenting children with special needs, and strives to make Carolina Pediatric Therapy a place where the entire family feels cared for.
Since 2002, Carolina Pediatric Therapy has provided speech, physical and occupational therapies, including early intervention services, to children in Asheville and surrounding areas. Therapists attend periodic training and continuing education classes, enabling them to stay on the cutting edge in their fields.The practice has grown from one therapist to more than thirty, allowing each therapist's caseload to remain small so that they can devote plenty of time to helping each child.
Carolina Pediatric Therapy accepts referrals from doctors as well as self-referrals. They are open Monday through Friday, 8-5, by appointment.
