Summer has worked on multi- and inter-disciplinary teams of PT, OT, and SLP in adult acute care, rehabilitation facilities and pediatric rehabilitation/habilitation settings. She has experience in neurological, genetic, and developmental disorders of communication and swallowing, auditory-oral therapy techniques for children with hearing aids and cochlear implants, and is trained in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). Ariana Cox

Ariana Cox joined the Carolina Pediatric Therapy team in September 2003 after 6 years of service at First Citizen’s Commercial Banking. Ariana, who has been present from the start of Carolina Rehabilitation Specialists, began with our team in the role of billing, book keeping, and customer services. In June of 2006, Ariana moved with her family to Katy, Texas. After her move to Texas, Ariana’s daughter was diagnosed with Autism. Ariana’s parent perspective of navigating through the ‘system’ of services and advocating for her daughter brings special insight. Although she is separated from CPT by distance and is living a time zone away, Ariana continues to be an integral part of our administrative team.
