What areas of child development do Occupational Therapists address?

Occupational therapists are trained on a broad range of areas all stemming from the child's activities of daily living. These areas include but are not limited to: play skills, fine motor skills, core strength, motor coordination, feeding, dressing, toileting, self-care, visual perceptual, visual motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, auditory processing, executive functioning, handwriting and attention.
