Meet our Physical Therapy Team

Jenn Basch PT, DPT, Director of Physical Therapy
Graduate of Duke University. I first knew I wanted to work with children whenI kept choosing to work as a camp counselor for my summer jobs in college instead of trying to pursue an internship in chemistry (which was my major). I have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and I am a Board-Certified Pediatric Specialist. I enjoy working with kids of all ages, but I have a special interest in working in the Early Intervention setting. One of my favorite things to work on with kids is helping them learn how to walk. I also like bringing families creative ideas to keep their child mobile because it is so important to ensure that kids with all abilities can keep up and play with their peers. I love working with children because they are inspiring! I am in awe everyday of the resilience and grit that kids have to overcome any obstacle they face. I also love that I get to play and run around all day. You don't find that in too many jobs! I have been with Carolina Peds since 2017 and I get to work with a team of creative and smart people that push me to be a better clinician. I am continually challenged and I learn something new every day.
