The Infant massage techniques taught stem from ancient practices and traditions while also incorporating new research on how we know an infant develops. One of our favorite things about infant massage is that it doesn’t require any fancy equipment or special tools other than our hands and natural sunflower oil, making it accessible for every parent and their child. This 6-week course series is designed for parents (and caregivers) of infants 1-12 months old that would like to learn massage techniques and other strategies to implement with their child to increase bonding and enhance development. Classes are taught by a licensed pediatric physical therapist that is also a certified educator of infant massage. Class sizes are limited and each class is 1-hour of instruction with parent/caregiver and infant. Add your name below, and we’ll send you an invite to our next course, or call us at (828) 398-0043.
